Commends St. Martin High School Girls Golf Team for winning the Mississippi High School Athletic Association Class III State Golf Championship on May 3, 2016, at The Oaks Country Club in Pass Christian.

Recognizes this as the first-ever state golf title for St. Martin High School and the second team state championship in school history.

Team shot an overall score of 325 over two days, defeating Madison Central by 13 strokes, after leading wire-to-wire with a first-round score of 162.

Acknowledges key contributors: seniors Sydney Cato and Jordan Wescovich, junior Lindsey Wescovich, and Head Coach Brandon Laird.

Directs that the resolution be presented to Coach Laird and forwarded to St. Martin High School Principal Dina Holland.
