Recognizes Janice Mitchell of Madison, Mississippi, upon her retirement after 38 years as a Congressional Constituent Service Representative.

Acknowledges Mitchell as the only African-American woman to have worked for two Mississippi Senators, serving Senator John C. Stennis beginning in 1978 and Senator Thad Cochran starting in 1985.

Notes Mitchell managed nearly 5,000 constituent cases assisting Mississippians with Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security Administration issues, with a majority resolved favorably.

Extends the Legislature's best wishes to Mitchell and directs the resolution be presented to her, Senator Cochran, the Secretary of the United States Senate, and the Capitol Press Corps.
