Honors Colonel Berry's 22+ year military career including service as Infantry Platoon Leader, White House Aide during the Kennedy administration, and senior advisory positions in Vietnam and Hawaii before retiring as Deputy Commandant at Fort Benjamin Harrison

Recognizes his leadership in Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, serving as the 30th National President in 1975 and receiving the National President Award in 1987

Acknowledges his civic contributions to the Braxton community, including teaching Sunday School at Braxton United Methodist Church and helping those in need

Directs the resolution be presented to Colonel Berry's surviving family and forwarded to the Mississippi Department of Veterans Affairs
