Mississippi applies for a second limited amendments convention to propose amendments establishing term limits for U.S. House and Senate members.

The conventions are strictly limited to these two subjects and cannot address any other matters.

This application counts toward the two-thirds threshold of state legislatures required to trigger a constitutional convention and can be aggregated with similar applications from other states on fiscal debt limits or congressional term limits.

The Secretary of State must transmit certified copies to the President of the Senate, Speaker of the House, Mississippi's congressional delegation, and presiding officers of all state legislatures.
