Commends the Hancock High School "Hawks" Girls Volleyball Team for winning the 2016 State Championship with a 36-3 record and 27-game winning streak.

Recognizes the team's highest-ever national ranking for a Mississippi high school volleyball team at 223 out of 15,382 schools nationally.

Honors Head Coach Rick Rechtien as Mississippi Coach of the Year and three All-State players: Rylee Swilley, Maddie Ladner, and Catie Ladner.

Notes the team won District 8, Regionals, Final Four, and State Championships with a majority of juniors returning for the 2017 season.

Directs the resolution be presented to Coach Rechtien and Hancock Principal Tara Ladner and forwarded to the Hancock County Board of Education.
