Inducted into the Halls of Fame at Alcorn State University, Jackson State University, and Alabama State University, with a complex named in his honor at Alabama State

Resolution to be presented to Mayor George Flaggs, Jr. and Coach Markham at the celebration at Vicksburg Junior High School
