Designates March 2017 as "Women's History Month in Mississippi" with the theme "Honoring Trailblazing Women in Labor and Business," marking the 37th anniversary of the Women's History Movement.

Celebrates 12 national honorees including Lilly Ledbetter (Equal Pay Activist), Alexis Herman (Former Secretary of Labor), Barbara Hackman Franklin (Former Secretary of Commerce), and others who advanced women's rights in labor and business.

Recognizes women's historical contributions to the U.S. Navy, including the 100th anniversary of Chief Yeoman Loretta Perfectus Walsh becoming the first female Chief Petty Officer in March 1917.

Acknowledges the Mississippi Commission on the Status of Women, established in 2001 to advise the Legislature and executive branch on policies affecting women in Mississippi.

Directs the Mississippi Commission on the Status of Women to observe appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities and make the resolution available to the Capitol Press Corps.
