Extends legislative recognition to Lt. Colonel Bert E. Sullivan, Jr., for his retirement from the 172nd Airlift Wing and 183rd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron of the Mississippi Air National Guard after 33 years of service from November 1983 to March 2017.

Recognizes Sullivan's career progression from enlisted Aeromedical Evacuation Technician to commissioned Flight Nurse, accumulating over 2,000 flight hours and 689 sorties across multiple aircraft platforms (C-141, C-21, C-130, KC-135, C-17).

Acknowledges Sullivan's leadership roles including Commander of aeromedical operations at Bagram Air Base Afghanistan, Chief Nurse at Andrews Air Force Base Maryland, Director of Operations, and Deputy Commander, plus humanitarian service during Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

Notes Sullivan received the Meritorious Service Medal and contributed to the 172nd Airlift Wing's worldwide aeromedical mission supporting 11 major operations and weekly volunteer missions returning wounded military personnel to the United States.

Directs the resolution be presented to Lt. Colonel Sullivan in appropriate ceremonies, forwarded to the 172nd Airlift Wing Command and the Governor, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
