Brings forward Section 71-3-79 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 regarding estoppel provisions in workers' compensation insurance claims for possible amendment.

Establishes that insurance carriers accepting premiums on workers' compensation policies are estopped from denying that an employee's employment is covered under the Workers' Compensation Act or that employment is not for pecuniary gain.

Requires partnership, firm, or association members electing workers' compensation coverage to have their intent and carrier acceptance shown by policy endorsement to qualify for employee benefits.

Makes every executive officer of a corporation (except nonprofit charitable, fraternal, cultural, or religious organizations) automatically an employee under workers' compensation, unless they provide written notice to reject coverage.

Effective July 1, 2018.
