Increases the annual clothing allowance for plainclothes investigators employed by sheriff's offices from $400 to $1,000.00, at the discretion of the board of supervisors.

Allows the board of supervisors of Gulf Coast counties with populations between 31,700 and 31,800 (per 1990 Federal Census) to provide the same $1,000.00 annual clothing allowance to county jail administrators.

Makes clarifying grammatical amendments throughout Section 19-25-13 of the Mississippi Code, changing "said" to "the," "such" to "any" or "that," and "which" to "that" as appropriate.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
