Exempts licensed hospices in good standing from licensing agency rules requiring prescribers to conduct in-person face-to-face visits with patients before issuing controlled substance prescriptions for terminal disease pain.

Amends Mississippi Code Section 41-29-137 to add an exception to the "valid prescription" definition for prescriptions issued under the hospice exemption in Section 1.

Maintains existing requirements that valid prescriptions for controlled substances generally require at least one in-person medical evaluation by the prescriber, except as authorized for hospices under this act.

Preserves existing exceptions for telemedicine prescriptions and prescriptions dispensed under U.S. Attorney General regulations.

Takes effect upon passage.
