Amends Section 71-5-503 of Mississippi Code to require annual increases to individual weekly unemployment benefit amounts equal to the U.S. inflation rate for the previous calendar year, as certified by the Mississippi Department of Employment Security.

Defines the inflation rate as the Consumer Price Index for urban consumers calculated by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor.

Maintains existing maximum weekly benefit amounts of $210 (benefit years beginning July 1, 2002 onward), $230 (July 1, 2008 onward), and $235 (July 1, 2009 onward), and minimum weekly benefit amount of $30.

Brings forward Section 71-5-505 regarding weekly benefit calculations for totally or partially unemployed individuals for possible amendment.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
