Creates the Mississippi Opioid Crisis Commission to review recommendations from the Governor, State Department of Health, health care providers, and regulatory agencies regarding opioid issues and develop comprehensive legislative and regulatory recommendations.

Comprises the State Health Officer (as Chair), four legislative committee chairs, two Senate and two House members, representatives from medical, pharmacy, dental, and nursing licensing boards, three addiction treatment/mental health providers, and a Governor's representative.

Commission shall convene before May 1, 2018, conduct hearings, and deliver its initial report with recommendations by August 1, 2018.

Requires the commission to meet at least annually after July 1, 2018, to review statistical data, evaluate the effectiveness of adopted regulations, and provide updated recommendations.

State Department of Health shall provide administrative and clerical support, and all state agencies must provide facilities, assistance, information, and data requested by commission members.
