Establishes Mississippi state minimum wage at $9.00 per hour, effective July 1, 2018.

Exempts employers with tipped employees from minimum wage requirement; tipped employees must receive minimum $3.62 per hour.

Requires overtime compensation at 1.5 times regular rate for employees earning $455 or less per week and all manual laborers, blue collar workers, law enforcement, and employees whose primary duty is not management or specialized professional work.

Prohibits counties and municipalities from establishing mandatory minimum wage rates or mandatory minimum vacation/sick days, reserving such decisions for the Mississippi Legislature.

Brings forward nine existing statutory sections for possible amendment related to state auditor internships, election training compensation, teacher leave policies, and various other employment-related provisions.
