Amends Section 45-1-29 to expand laboratory analysis fee requirements to include individuals convicted of misdemeanors, not just felonies.

Adds two additional categories subject to the $300 laboratory analysis fee: individuals who are nonadjudicated on misdemeanor cases under Section 99-15-26 or 63-11-30(14), and those participating in pretrial intervention programs.

Maintains the $300 fee amount imposed when the Forensics Laboratory provided forensic science or laboratory services in connection with a case.

Allows courts to waive the fee if they find that imposing it would result in undue hardship.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
