Prohibits registered appraisal management companies from requiring their own criminal background investigations as a condition of employment, contractual relationships, or portal access for licensees.

Requires appraisal management companies to accept criminal background investigations already completed by the Mississippi Real Estate Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board for new licenses or renewals.

Places the cost of any additional criminal background investigations conducted by appraisal management companies for their own purposes on the company rather than the licensee.

Codifies existing requirements for licensure investigations, continuing education, disciplinary grounds, and ownership qualifications for appraisal management companies.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
