Authorizes the University of Mississippi Medical Center to rearrange, disinter, remove, or reinter human remains in its potter's field to a different location on the medical center's property when necessary for proper maintenance and management.

Requires markers, headstones, or other identification to accompany remains when identification exists, and mandates that the medical center maintain records of removal and reinterment in the Hinds County chancery clerk's files.

Requires the medical center to publish notice of its intent to rearrange, disinter, remove, or reinter remains in a county newspaper once a week for three consecutive weeks before taking any action.

Grants the University of Mississippi Medical Center and its officers and employees immunity from lawsuits arising from maintenance of the potter's field and rearrangement or removal of remains when performed in good faith under this authorization.

Repeals Section 2, Chapter 846, Local and Private Laws of 1973, as amended by Chapter 854, Laws of 1974, which previously authorized similar actions regarding human remains in the potter's field.
