Increases maximum civil penalties for violations of the Mississippi Telephone Solicitation Act from $5,000 to $100,000 per violation.

Each telephonic communication constitutes a separate violation subject to the penalty.

Revises penalty distribution: 10% to Telephone Solicitation Act administration fund, 10% to Highway Patrol Trooper School fund, 40% to Local System Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation Fund, and 40% to municipal roads and bridges fund for municipalities with population of 15,000 or less.

State Aid Engineer distributes municipal funding to eligible cities on a pro rata basis.

Effective July 1, 2018.
