Authorizes Combat Action Ribbon recipients to obtain one distinctive motor vehicle license plate per registered vehicle upon compliance with standard motor vehicle registration and licensing requirements.

Establishes an annual additional fee of $30.00 for each distinctive license tag, with $2.00 retained by county tax collectors for the county general fund.

Distributes the remaining $28.00 of each additional fee as follows: $24.00 to State Veterans Affairs Board for State Veterans Memorial Cemetery and nursing homes, $2.00 to State Highway Fund, $1.00 to Mississippi Burn Care Fund, and $1.00 to a special fund created in Section 27-19-44.2.

Applicants must present written proof of Combat Action Ribbon status to county tax collectors, who process applications and submit fees monthly to the Department of Revenue.

Effective July 1, 2018, with replacement tags available for $10.00 in case of loss or theft.
