Authorizes mileage reimbursement for poll managers and other voting precinct workers required to return to the registrar's office after polls close on election day.

Reimbursement rate equals the federal mileage allowance for privately owned vehicles, with reimbursement only for miles traveled in excess of 10 miles.

Applies to any person present at the voting precinct who is required by the registrar to return to the registrar's office after polls close.

Board of supervisors approves compensation, which is paid from the county treasury.

Effective July 1, 2018.
