Increases the filing fee for petitions to expunge offenses from $150.00 to $152.00 under Mississippi Code Section 99-19-72.

Allocates the fee distribution as follows: $100.00 to Judicial System Operation Fund, $40.00 to District Attorneys Operation Fund, $10.00 retained by circuit clerk for administration, and $2.00 to the new Mississippi Center for Legal Services Corporation Fund.

Creates the Mississippi Center for Legal Services Corporation Fund in the State Treasury to be administered by the Mississippi Center for Legal Services Corporation for distribution to legal service centers throughout the state.

Allows the fund to accept monies from public or private sources in addition to the $2.00 per petition deposit, with any year-end balance and investment interest remaining in the fund rather than lapsing to the General Fund.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
