Reduces concealed weapon license fee from $80 to $25 for applicants age 65 or older, and caps fingerprint processing costs at $5 for this age group.

Allows applicants age 65 or older to have fingerprints taken at any Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol office instead of only at the Department of Public Safety.

Requires immediate processing of fingerprints, background checks, law enforcement notifications, and license issuance or denial at the location where fingerprints are taken for applicants age 65 or older.

Reduces renewal license fee from $40 to $20 for Mississippi residents age 65 or older.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
