Increases the annual salary of the Lieutenant Governor and Speaker of the House of Representatives from $60,000 to $90,000, effective January 1, 2020.

Increases annual salaries for statewide elected officials effective January 1, 2020: Governor ($122,160 to $195,000), Attorney General ($108,960 to $175,000), Secretary of State ($90,000 to $125,000), Commissioner of Insurance ($90,000 to $125,000), State Treasurer ($90,000 to $125,000), State Auditor of Public Accounts ($90,000 to $125,000), and Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce ($90,000 to $125,000).

Increases annual salaries for Transportation Commissioners and Public Service Commissioners from $78,000 to $105,000, effective January 1, 2020.

Requires the State Personnel Board to prepare a written report to the Legislature every four years beginning November 1, 2020, examining and recommending adequate compensation levels for these officials based on comparative salaries, inflation, and economic factors.

Effective date is July 1, 2018.
