• Requires Medicaid beneficiaries to participate in a patient-centered medical home and undergo physical examinations that include body mass index (BMI) measurements upon eligibility determination and annual redetermination.

• Mandates that beneficiaries determined to be obese based on BMI must participate in an online interactive obesity prevention and reduction program featuring nutritional counseling, personalized health plans, and real-time interaction with nutrition specialists.

• Requires the Division of Medicaid to provide computers at county and regional offices, Department of Human Services offices, State Department of Health offices, Department of Employment Security, WIC programs, and the University of Mississippi Medical Center for beneficiaries without home internet access.

• Penalizes non-compliant beneficiaries by increasing their Medicaid co-payments to the maximum amount permitted under federal law.

• Extends the repeal date of Section 43-13-117 from June 30, 2018 to July 1, 2021.
