Creates the Mississippi Workforce Development Study Committee with 13 members including the State Superintendent of Education, representatives from community colleges, manufacturers, the workforce board, and designated legislative and executive appointees.

Committee shall review existing K-12 curriculum designed for workforce development and determine whether it meets Mississippi's workforce development needs.

Committee authorized to request testimony from school officials, college officials, business leaders and others; review reports and studies; and establish subcommittees as needed.

Committee must submit findings and recommendations for a state workforce development curriculum to the Legislature and Governor by November 30, 2018, after which the committee dissolves.

School districts, community colleges, higher education institutions, and businesses are required to cooperate with the committee; committee members receive no compensation or travel reimbursement.
