Repeals effective July 1, 2019: Multiple sections of the Local Privilege Tax Law imposing privilege taxes on various businesses including general businesses, taxicabs, flea markets, laundries, pawn brokers, retail stores, weapon dealers, drilling rigs, and optometrists.

Repeals effective July 1, 2019: Sections of the Slot Amusement Machine Tax Law authorizing annual license taxes on slot amusement machines and sections of the Vending and Weighing Machine Tax Law imposing taxes on automatic vending machines.

Brings forward for possible amendment: Numerous sections of the Local Privilege Tax Law covering definitions, license applications, issuance procedures, contractor licensing reciprocity, license duration, penalties for delinquency, exemptions for disabled persons and nonprofits, record-keeping requirements, and enforcement provisions.

Brings forward for possible amendment: Sections of the Slot Amusement Machine Tax Law covering definitions, penalties, exemptions for gaming establishments and charitable bingo, antique coin machine protections, and tax collection procedures.

Brings forward for possible amendment: Sections of the Vending and Weighing Machine Tax Law covering enforcement procedures and exemptions for store owners and nonprofit organizations.
