Authorizes the Department of Corrections to transfer offenders out of technical violation centers to the general prison population for the remainder of their revocation term if the offender is causing disruption or poses a threat to institution safety.

Amends Section 47-7-38.1 to add new subsection (6) granting the department this transfer authority, while maintaining existing restrictions that technical violation center sentences cannot be reduced in any manner except as provided in this new section.

Updates Sections 47-7-27 and 47-7-37 to reference the new transfer authority in Section 47-7-38.1(6) in all provisions addressing technical violation center sentences for parole and probation violators.

Technical violation centers continue to address underlying factors through substance abuse services, education programs, employment training, and behavioral programs as ordered by the parole board or sentencing court.

Effective immediately upon passage.
