Amends Mississippi Code Section 65-7-1 to clarify that county boards of supervisors have jurisdiction over roads regardless of whether they were originally constructed as state highways.

Requires roads to be formally established or accepted by board action and recorded in the official county road system before being included as part of the county road system.

Removes outdated language referencing July 1, 2000 effective date while maintaining the requirement that roads must be at least 12 feet wide (or 16 feet where practicable) with proper drainage.

Effective July 1, 2018.
