House Bill 713 Summary

• Prohibits the Division of Medicaid from implementing or operating managed care programs, coordinated care programs, health maintenance organizations, patient-centered medical homes, accountable care organizations, provider-sponsored health plans, or any combinations thereof after July 1, 2019.

• Requires any such programs in operation on July 1, 2018, to be terminated by the division no later than July 1, 2019.

• Extends the repeal date of Section 43-13-117, Mississippi Code of 1972, from June 30, 2018, to July 1, 2020.

• Effective date is June 30, 2018.
