Amends Section 37-7-477 to exempt school property transactions from automatic reverter requirements when the United States acquires the property by purchase, condemnation, conveyance, or otherwise.

Removes the mandatory condition that conveyed school property automatically reverts to the school district if it ceases to be used for its intended purpose, but only for federal acquisitions.

Brings forward Section 3-5-1 confirming Mississippi's consent to federal acquisition of state land for custom houses, post offices, and other public buildings under the U.S. Constitution.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
