Amends Section 79-11-511 of Mississippi Code to clarify service of process requirements for charitable organizations, professional fund-raisers, fund-raising counsel, and professional solicitors that solicit contributions in Mississippi.

Requires these entities to designate a registered agent pursuant to Section 79-35-1, et seq., upon which legal process may be served in Mississippi.

Provides that if no registered agent has been designated and service cannot be made on the entity, service of process may be made on the Secretary of State of Mississippi instead.

Removes the prior requirement that the entity not maintain an office within the state to be subject to these service of process provisions.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
