Amends Section 43-13-115 of Mississippi Code to add a new paragraph (28) establishing Medicaid coverage for children under 19 years of age whose family income does not exceed 200% of the federal poverty level.

Coverage under paragraph (28) applies only to children not already eligible for Medicaid under any other existing provision of state law.

Coverage becomes effective only upon the Division of Medicaid's determination that federal statutory authority or funding for the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) under Title XXI of the federal Social Security Act has been terminated.

The Division of Medicaid retains authority to determine eligibility for individuals covered under this paragraph and must redetermine eligibility no less frequently than required by federal law.
