Increases minimum mandatory liability insurance for commercial motor vehicles (those with gross vehicle weight rating over 10,000 pounds) from $25,000/$50,000/$25,000 to either $100,000/$300,000/$100,000 or a combined single limit of $750,000.

Requires all commercial motor vehicles to carry medical payments coverage of at least $1,000.

Eliminates the option for commercial motor vehicle owners to reject uninsured motorist coverage for both bodily injury and property damage.

Defines "commercial motor vehicle" as any motor vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating over 10,000 pounds.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
