Defines "traumatic event," "post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)," "support animal," and "support animal trainer" in the Mississippi Support Animal Act.

Adds armed services veterans diagnosed with PTSD to the list of individuals entitled to use support animals in public accommodations, transportation, and facilities alongside blind, mobility impaired, and hearing impaired persons.

Specifies that support animals are limited to dogs or miniature horses and must be individually trained to perform tasks directly related to the handler's disability, including guiding, alerting, mobility assistance, and psychiatric support.

Prohibits charging fees or denying accommodations to veterans with PTSD or support animal trainers when accompanied by support animals, and extends these protections to trainers with animals-in-training.

Effective July 1, 2018.
