Reduce the timeframe for recording meeting minutes from 30 days to 28 days after recess or adjournment of meetings under the Open Meetings Act.

Require public bodies with websites to post meeting minutes within 35 days after adoption of the minutes.

Require public bodies to maintain posted minutes on their websites for at least 12 months after posting.

Exempt municipalities with populations under 25,000 and counties with populations under 50,000 from the website posting requirements.

Clarify that technological failures preventing public access to a website do not constitute violations of the Open Meetings Act.
