Commends award-winning author Jesse J. Holland, a native of Holly Springs, Mississippi and University of Mississippi alumnus, for his literary achievements and success.

Recognizes Holland's career as a race and ethnicity writer for The Associated Press and his unique accomplishment of covering all three branches of American government.

Celebrates Holland's novel "Black Panther: Who Is The Black Panther" and acknowledges his previous award-winning works including "The Invisibles: The Untold Story of African American Slavery In The White House" which won the 2017 Silver Medal Award in U.S. History.

Notes Holland's contributions to Star Wars literature and his role as a visiting Distinguished Professor of Ethics in Journalism at the University of Arkansas and current instructor in the creative nonfiction master's program at Goucher College.

Directs that copies of this resolution be furnished to Mr. Holland and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
