Commends and congratulates Dr. Glenda Baskin Glover on her election as the 30th International President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, the first Greek-letter organization established by African-American college women.

Recognizes Dr. Glover's extensive experience within AKA, including previous positions as International First Vice President, International Treasurer, and chapter positions with the Beta Delta Omega Chapter in Jackson, Mississippi.

Acknowledges her academic credentials including an undergraduate degree in mathematics from Tennessee State University, MBA from Clark Atlanta University, PhD in business and economics from George Washington University, and Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University, plus CPA certification and bar admission.

Notes her professional accomplishments as president of Tennessee State University since January 2013, author of over 100 articles and papers, corporate board member for companies including Pinnacle Financial Partners and First Guaranty Bancshares, and recognized expert in economics and finance.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Dr. Glover and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
