Commends and congratulates the Mize High School Pride Marching Band for winning the 2017 Mississippi Bandmasters Association/MHSAA Class 2A State Marching Band Championship on November 4, 2017, the first state title in the school's history.

Recognizes Band Director Patrick Vincent and his wife Emily (color guard instructor) for leading the band's performance of "Starry Night," which earned first-place in music, second-place in visual and percussion, and third-place in general effects.

Lists all 50 band members by name and instrument, including drum major, color guard, woodwinds, brass, percussion, and front ensemble sections.

Directs copies of the resolution to be furnished to Patrick Vincent on behalf of the band and to members of the Capitol Press Corps.
