Proposes constitutional amendments to shift state and county general elections to align with congressional elections beginning in 2026.

State officers elected in November 2023 will serve three-year terms instead of the standard four years, creating a transition period until January 1, 2027.

Starting with the November 2026 election, all subsequent state and county elections will occur in years divisible by four, synchronizing with federal congressional elections.

Affects elections for Governor, state legislators, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, Auditor of Public Accounts, county officers (sheriff, coroner, assessor, tax collector, surveyor), court clerks, justice court judges, Attorney General, and district attorneys.

Amendment scheduled for voter approval at the November 2018 general election.
