Commends the Murrah Concert Singers from Murrah High School in Jackson, Mississippi for outstanding choral achievements and invitation to participate in the WorldStrides OnStage Festival Concert Tour in Italy during Spring Break 2018, performing in Florence, Rome, Venice, and Milan.

Recognizes the Murrah Choral Department as one of the best in the district, state, and nation since the 1950s-1960s, with all student groups consistently rated at advanced to superior levels at district, state, and national competitions.

Highlights the choir's numerous honors including district superior ratings (2008-2010), state superior ratings (2009-2010), superior rating at Festival Disney in Orlando competing against nearly 300 choirs, and highest average score at a New Orleans festival.

Documents the choir's participation in prestigious festivals including The Heritage Festival of Gold in New York City, competitions in Washington D.C. and Atlanta, and a live recording in Chicago with world-renowned conductor Dr. Rene Clausen.

Credits Director of Choral Activities Mr. Pierrdro Gallion, a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and Jackson State University, for leading the choir since 2008 to achieve musical excellence.
