Commends and congratulates Locust Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Greenwood, Mississippi on its 150th anniversary on September 9, 2018.

Recognizes the church as the oldest African-American church in Greenwood, established in 1868 under Reverend Pete Green and never having split its membership.

Chronicles the church's history including its relocation to 1209 Broad Street in 1950 and move to 3951 Highway 82 East on December 31, 2013, with first services at new location on February 2, 2014.

Honors the church's community service including opening its doors to Friends of Children Head Start Association in 1966 to serve approximately 100 children.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Pastor William E. Morris and the Capitol Press Corps.
