Commends Tyler Pearson from Louisville, Mississippi for winning the World Champion Steer Wrestler title at the 2017 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Recognizes Pearson's rodeo career achievements including qualifying for the National Finals Rodeo in 2013 (placing fourth in average despite a knee injury) and 2017 (ranked second in the world entering competition).

Notes Pearson threw his steer in all 10 rounds of the 2017 competition to win second in average and capture the world championship title with his horse Scooter, named 2017 Horse of the Year.

Acknowledges Pearson's additional rodeo victories including the Wrangler Champions Challenge, La Fiesta De Los Vaqueros, Silver State Stampede, and other major PRCA rodeos.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Tyler Pearson and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
