Designates February 8, 2018, as "Wear Red Day" in Mississippi to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease in women.

Encourages citizens to wear red and support the American Heart Association's "Go Red for Women" movement, which promotes awareness of heart disease as the leading killer of women in the United States.

Promotes education on five critical health numbers: total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar, and body mass index.

Highlights that 80% of cardiac events in women are preventable through lifestyle changes including diet modifications, increased exercise, and smoking cessation.

Directs the resolution be presented to the Mississippi Chapter of the American Heart Association and distributed to citizens through the State Board of Health.
