Commends Mr. Joshua Cavanaugh for receiving the United Soccer Coaches 2017 Regional Coach of the Year award for High School Boys - Small Schools - Winter Region, presented January 20, 2018, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Recognizes Cavanaugh's distinguished coaching record including Mississippi Association of Coaches Coach of the Year for 2017 and National Soccer Coaches Association of America Mississippi Small School Coach of the Year for 2017.

Notes that Cavanaugh led Florence High School boys soccer team to the 2017 MHSAA 4A State Championship in his first year as head coach, and previously assisted teams that won state titles in 2011, 2012, and 2013.

Directs that copies of the resolution be provided to Mr. Cavanaugh and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
