Commends Dr. Charles Ozborn, M.D., of Eupora, Mississippi, for being named the 2018 national Country Doctor of the Year, an award sponsored by Staff Care, Inc.

Recognition ceremony scheduled for Friday, March 2, 2018, at Eupora First Baptist Church in Eupora, Mississippi.

Dr. Ozborn practiced medicine for over 50 years in Eupora (population 2,200), made over 10,000 house calls during his first 25 years of practice, and delivered over 4,000 babies throughout his career.

Board Certified in family medicine, Dr. Ozborn treated all patients with respect and graciousness regardless of their ability to pay, and received his initial medical education at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine.

House of Representatives extends best wishes for Dr. Ozborn's future endeavors and directs copies of the resolution be furnished to him and the Capitol Press Corps.
