Commends the Coahoma County High School Red Panthers Boys Basketball Team for winning the 2018 Mississippi High School Activities Association Class 2A State Basketball Championship on March 9, 2018 at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson.

Recognizes the team's achievement of winning back-to-back state championships with a record of 29 wins and 4 losses, defeating Bay Springs Bulldogs 62-46 in the championship game.

Acknowledges outstanding individual performances including Jay'Sheldon Yates with 14 points and 12 rebounds, and Bentavious Galmore with 10 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals in the championship game.

Names 26 players on the roster and credits Head Coach Derrick Moore, Assistant Coaches Daryl Moore, Timothy Williams and Johnetta Robinson, along with support staff for their contributions to the team's success.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Coahoma County High School, Head Coach Derrick Moore, and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
