Commemorates Dr. Alfio Rausa, M.D., who passed away on January 3, 2018, and expresses sympathy to his family and friends.

Recognizes Dr. Rausa's 50-year career in public health, including his service as Regional Public Health Officer (1970) and District Health Officer for Mississippi State Department of Health until his retirement in 2017.

Honors his founding of multiple organizations including Life Help, a youth soccer league, and his role as Chairman of the Fannie Lou Hamer Cancer Foundation.

Acknowledges his contributions as medical consultant for WIC breastfeeding programs and his service with the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps from 1966 to 1970.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Dr. Rausa's family and the Capitol Press Corps.
