Commends Bishop Joseph Roscoe Campbell, Jr. for his outstanding service and dedication to his church and community.

Bishop Campbell graduated from Alcorn State University in 1968 with a degree in accounting and business administration, was ordained as a Deacon in 1972, as a minister in 1987, and consecrated as a Bishop in 1998.

Held multiple leadership positions including Second Vice President of the Church of Christ (Holiness) USA (2004-2012), First Vice President (2012-2016), Vice President of the Mississippi Religious Leaders Conference, and Presiding Bishop of the South Central Diocese.

Served as Pastor of Rose Hill Church of Christ (Holiness) USA in Pinola and Galilee Church of Christ (Holiness) USA in Jayess, and worked for BellSouth/AT&T for 22 years.

Directs the Clerk of the House to furnish copies of the resolution to Bishop Campbell and the Capitol Press Corps.
