Commends Representative Robert Earl Huddleston for his retirement from the Mississippi House of Representatives on March 1, 2018, after serving more than 20 consecutive years representing House District 30 (parts of Bolivar, Quitman, Sunflower and Tallahatchie Counties).

Recognizes Huddleston's prior community service including his work on the local school board, as President of the Tallahatchie County Union for Progress, and his background as a construction supervisor.

Acknowledges his legislative accomplishments including securing local and private legislation for the Towns of Sumner and Tutwiler, the Tallahatchie County Correctional Authority, and the Institute of Community Services Head Start Program.

Notes his service on 12 House committees and his role as Chairperson of the House Interstate Cooperation Committee, as well as his community involvement with the NAACP, Aaron Henry Help Center, and Tallahatchie Housing (which secured 13 houses and 360 apartments for county residents).

Directs the House Clerk to furnish copies of the resolution to Representative Huddleston and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
