Amends Section 83-17-251, Mississippi Code of 1972, to add a new exemption from continuing education requirements for insurance agents who are 75 years of age or older and have held an agent's license in Mississippi for at least 10 years.

Insurance agents meeting the age and tenure requirements are exempt from the 12 to 24 hours of approved continuing education courses required for license renewal.

The exemption does not apply to other existing categories already exempt from continuing education, including nonactive agents and those exempt from written examination requirements.

Takes effect upon passage.
